The Yorktown High School Science Research students presented their projects and findings at the Westchester Science & Engineering Fair (WESEF) a few weeks ago. WESEF brings together over 500 high school students from 40 area schools to present their advanced science research projects to local professionals. Over the 16 year history of WESEF, the local Science Research / STEM education programs have grown in quantity and quality to the point where the students representing our region are recognized as some of the most talented and impressive even on an international level.

The support for our Yorktown HS Science Research Program from the administration, faculty, parents and local professionals have been key elements as our students have carried out graduate level research and won the opportunity to present it in state, national and international venues. Thank you for everything you have done to help so many of our students in the past. They could not have made it to this level without the support of so many along the way.

While the focus is most often on the students that are moving on to a national or international level, we wanted to make sure we shared all of the recent accolades won by the science research students in the hopes that you will recognize some of the names on this list as well as ask them about their research.
